Great broodmares are the cornerstone of today's 9B Ranch.

Today, the 9B Ranch is developing quality horses, and at its core is a band of solid foundation type broodmares.

Leo's Blaze Lady

Leo's Blaze Lady is producer of two world champions. She is 95% foundation bred and has at least seven producing foals and point earners to her credit. She is an outstanding mare and is bred to a son of Colonel Freckles, Colonel Bar Glow, who has LTE of over $100,000.

Blazin San Bandino

Blazin San Bandino is a granddaughter of Mr. San Peppy and truly outstanding mare. She is out of money earner San Perdiz and eight performance or point earners in her immediate pedigree including Bandino Reed and Leo San. She has already produced outstanding foals. She has her 2006 foal, High Brow Peppy (pending), by her side out of Hi Mag, son of High Brow Hickory. This foal is truly turning heads. He has the look of a great cutting horse. She is bred back to Hi Mag for 2007. She is a good and stout mare that makes a dynamite momma.

Don't Skip Susie

Don't Skip Susie is another really nice mare. She is out of Son of a Doc breeding and shows some good signs of producing quality babies. She has a nice 2006 foal on the ground the is the property of Brandon Brown. She is bred back for 2007.

Poco Showdown

Poco Showdown is a young mare that was added this year to our broodmare band. She is bred to Colonel Bar Glow who is a son of Colonel Freckles. She has come to the 9B and developed into one of our best broodmares. She is bigger and in better shape than when she arrived. She has shown a little roan coloring around her mid section and upper back. She is a good addition to our broodmare band and should deliver an outstanding colt.

Skip Bucks

Skip Bucks is a mare with maturity and build. She is a Skipper W mare that has a build and toughness to her. She is not bred at this time. She stands out due to her well built frame and hips. She has been singled out as one of the best looking and best built mares around.
